When you use Wordwing, we collect:
- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture.
- Usage Data: We track how many transforms you've used to enforce daily limits.
- Transform History: If you're signed in, we save your transformation history so you can access it later.
- Preferences: Your language preferences, default platform, and writing style settings.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve our text transformation service
- To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- To personalize your experience with saved preferences
- To communicate important updates about the service
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: For authentication and data storage
- xAI: For AI-powered text transformation
- PostHog: For anonymous usage analytics (consent-based, see below)
Analytics
We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics. Analytics data is only collected after you explicitly grant consent via the in-app banner. All analytics requests are proxied through our backend — no direct connection to PostHog is made from your device.
We track anonymous usage events such as page views, feature interactions, and platform selections. No personal content (your text input or output) is ever sent to analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time from your browser or app settings.
Your Rights
You can:
- Export your data at any time
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt out of analytics tracking
